Dr Starke has been a practicing Consultant Physician specialising in Medicine for the Elderly and Stroke Medicine at University Hospital, Lewisham and Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine since 1988. He is on the Specialist Register of the GMC with a current Licence to Practise

He has previously been Medical Director for Revalidation, RCP London and Director of Continuing Professional Development, Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK.
